Occasionally we wonder what the component we are making will be a part of, whether big or small however frequently we will know the answer as we have held discussions with the customer regarding appropriate materials etc. As we now operate on a global basis we have seen many interesting components with a variety of uses.
Macor machinable glass ceramic continues to be popular, due to the large range of applications and its versatility with rapid prototyping. As a certified Corning Inc. distributor, we have a group of experienced engineers who work with this ceramic daily and exhibit a high level of skill in machining difficult technical intricate components.
