Saturday Club IOW

Being a close family run business and Island employer, Ceramic Substrates and Components Ltd., has always tried to support several charities nationally but more so locally. We already support Haylands Farm with aluminum drinks can collection, The Earl Mountbatten Hospice and several others. However, more recently we were contacted by the Saturday Club (supporting Island deaf children) with the question “Do we have any old printer cartridges and mobile phones?”. We had a good rummage in the offices and came up trumps with several old style and modern mobiles which due to the arrival of smart phones are no longer being used. Of course Ink cartridges are always being replaced, so their collection box soon fills up. We were pleasantly surprised on receiving the attached letter confirming the amount that had been raised just with a good clean out of several draws. If you have a business, check all your draws and see what is in them. It might not mean much to you but it could mean a lot to Charities.

More from me in two weeks.
