Feed Through Bushes

Here at Ceramic Substrates and Components Ltd we offer a diverse range of Feed Through Bushes. These bushes are available in a variety of sizes and materials. We have a standard range, however we can also manufacture to customer requirements and specifications. Our range of standard size Feed Through Bushes are always in stock, thus offering a very short delivery time.

We have been manufacturing bespoke industrial ceramic components including Feed Through Bushes since 1968 and accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience, shipping our products worldwide to our global customer base.
In the example shown in the picture below you can see a Feed Through Bush made for one of our customers in material Steatite. Having a bespoke Feed Through Bush made is of course a different process from our standard range.

A customer's drawing will go to the tooling department to make a tool to press the required shape of bush. After a test run on the press with your chosen material it will then be fired and inspected on dimensions, quality and finish. A custom Feed Through Bush will occur a onetime tooling charge as a tool needs to be made to your specification. Tools that are paid for against an order remain the sole property of Ceramic Substrates & Components Limited, but are reserved for the exclusive use of those who paid the part tool charge. If of course the Feed Through Bush is made from a Machinable ceramic, such as Macor, Pyrophyllite, Shapal M (AIN), then there will be no tooling costs.
