Green Leaf

Here at Ceramic Substrates we have been working on improving and promoting a greener work environment over the past couple of years. In our factory we have made big changes to aid the environment and keep it as green as we can. This is a constant changing process for new ways of going green become more available and production methods evolve. For our latest green challenge we have looked at the office. We do a fair amount printing on a daily basis and over the past few weeks we have looked at where we can save on the volume that is printed.  We decided that in this digital age it was time to send our invoice, statements and remittance advices via e-mail instead of printing them off using paper, envelops and stamps.  We had to set up our accounts program with new reports to enable this to happen. After a few go’s and a little help from the Sage helpline, Sharon has worked it out and succeeded to make it all work. We are rolling this new invoicing system out to all our customers in the coming months where possible. Not only will we be on saving paper, ink and postage we are all making a small step in a greener direction
