Skype
At Ceramic Substrates & Components Ltd we know that communication on all levels is important. Communication with customers has changed over the last few years in more ways than one, yet still changing using different kinds of technology which are available in today’s world. Gone are the days of just a phone call and sending drawings with standard snail mail (still can be used of course). We now all use fax, e-mails and of course the phone to communicate between ourselves. In our office we can either call or use the office notes system. This has all resulted in faster ways to talk to each other taking away the days of posted notes being stuck to everything. The internet was changed the way we do business forever, whether you like it or not. We have embraced this with our website, giving details of our range of materials and services. However, this will always be work in progress with improvements and changes on a monthly basis. We have our latest news/blog page (which you are on now) to communicate with our customers about events and developments and this month we have added Skype to this page. Should you wish to talk to us either via IM or call us on Skype, you will see the button on the right hand side of the menu/links on this page. If you click on the button, it will ask if you want to make a call using Skype. You will also be able to see if we are online. We believe this maybe easier for our international customers to call us, as Skype to Skype is free. Our Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic website macor.info, will not have the button due to technical limitations, however, it will show you our status and username: CeramicSubstrates on Skype. We will integrate a Skype button in the coming weeks to our website’s home page once we have fine tuned and tried this new added form of contacting us.
