Lighting up for 2011

After the Christmas/New Year annual leave we relight the kilns a day earlier than our official start date, so they are at the right temperature and ready for use upon our return. A few of us were present at this yearly event and took time over coffee to discuss the long Christmas break. With the festive flu virus being around most of the UK, it would appear Islanders have certainly suffered and a fair few of our work force have been struck down with the “cold/man flu”.

The next twelve months will be a period where we hope to build on the positive direction our company has taken during 2010. Due to the unstable economic climate in the euro zone, as a ceramic component specialist we think that we can give our customers that flexibility and reliability they expect from one of the UK’s last and leading industrial ceramic manufacturers.

We are back to work tomorrow following the Christmas shutdown and either Sharon or Belinda will answer any queries you may have.
