Shapal-M Soft



This week has seen the arrival of another large slab of Machinable Aluminium Nitride Shapal-M Soft.  (SHAPAL™-M is a trademark of Tokuyama Corporation). Shapal is just one of the machinable ceramics that we can offer as a bespoke machining service.  Characteristics of SHAPAL-M Soft are; Excellent Machinability, High Thermal Conductivity, High Mechanical Strength, Electrical Insulation, Low Thermal Expansion, Low Dielectric Loss, Good High Temperature Properties and Vacuum Applications. We also stock BNP-2 (spec sheet here), which is similar to Shapal-M Soft.   As we manufacture our own range of ceramics and we stock a wide range of machinable ceramics we are a one-stop shop as the saying goes, for all your industrial ceramics.  With our extensive range of ceramics and services, we fully understand that lead-time is important and we stride to deliver on time or earlier where possible.  There are many occasions when a customer urgently requires ceramic components and we do our up most to fulfil their needs within a very short time frame.  We offer a rapid prototype, low volume, or a one off service if a deadline needs to be met.
