At last, some of you have been waiting for this week for the past six weeks? There has been a sigh of relief around the Island from most parents, downside is the dreaded school run in the morning turning our narrow roads to a standstill, just when you want to go to work.
The last couple of months have been very busy at Ceramic Substrates, with some of the staff taking their holiday’s, thus making teamwork and communication all the more important. It is never easy to find the right balance when people are on annual leave.
Over the last couple of years June, July and August have been relatively predicable with orders and enquires, however, with our still expanding product and service range and online presence this has been even more challenging. It is good to see that within the team help is always at hand when needed and that extra effort is readily available to finish an order on time, even on the occasional Saturday.
After all the events we have had on the Island over the summer, Isle of Wight Festival, Cowes Week, Round the Island Race, Walk the Wight, Powerboat Racing, Scooter Rally, Paul Weller etc.,
Still to come we have the Bestival 9-12 September which is one of the more fun festivals with a relaxed atmosphere, this year’s theme being the world of Fantasy. There is also Cycle the Wight on the 26 of September in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
