Reinforcements

As you are all well aware by now, there have been some big changes at Ceramic Substrates & Components Ld., over the past year. As we are and always will be foremost a ceramics manufacturer, the direction the company has taken this last year has been different from previous years.

We now have customers not just in the UK/Europe but also on a more global level. The changes are not just down to one person, the enthusiasm and full support of the whole workforce as a team has driven the company in a new direction with many obstacles to endure to get where we want to be.
In the last two weeks, alone we have made great strides forward not just in production processes but also in communication among the workforce.
With our expanding customer base, services and products we offer, there is always more paperwork to be completed.

We are glad to announce that after a three month temping period we have offered a new staff member in our admin department a permanent contract. You might already have spoken to Belinda on the phone or have had correspondence via e-mail. Belinda comes to us with a working background in the financial sector in the City and has accumulated a wealth of experience over the years. After moving to and living on the island for a couple of years, Belinda was ready to go back in a full time working environment. Working in a family firm with employees who have been with the company for many years can be quite daunting, however Belinda has thrown herself into the job working closely with Sharon and myself. Belinda soon made herself popular with the staff in the factory with her homemade cakes, which are very yummy indeed and working with Sharon, she soon picked up the general office day-to-day business, but working with ceramics is a new challenge and she is still learning every day.
