These last two weeks have been a very busy period in our Machinable Ceramics division. Since we featured Jon in our blog and on the front page of macor.info we have seen an upsurge in demand. We have customers phoning us to speak to Jon himself, about prototypes and our line of Machinable materials. However, I would like to point out that all enquires will be first looked at by Belinda or Sharon before Jon gets involved in the calculating of material and programming time etc.
Jon, who was thinking that the holiday period would be a nice relaxing period, has since put that thought firmly aside. It is not just Jon who works in Machinable Ceramics, there is also Ben (who is always thinking about eating cake) and Steve H (who also dabbles in MC mixing), both of which are vital to our Ceramics Division. When speaking to Jon in the weekly production meeting he made the remark that he is the most famous employee at Ceramic Substrates as he is on the front page of macor.info but he also can be found when you search; Google, Corning Macor Ceramic and then Images. He will be on top of the page, when searching just under Macor, he will be on the second page.
We are pleased to say he does not have any plans to join Britain’s Got Talent, holding a Macor Maxi Slab, but you never know!
